KFZ 2015 Event: Dr. Jon Coleman presents Print Culture in Kentucky's Queer Underground (1pm)

August 27, 2015

We are thrilled to welcome local historian Dr. Jon Coleman to this year's KFZ. His presentation, Print Culture in Kentucky's Queer Underground, incorporates zines, posters, pamphlets, art, and homemade erotica as a means to understand the GLBTQ experience in Kentucky.  From locked closets to open protests, print material reveals the myriad forms of queer expression, community, and activism, ranging from the sex-positive Seventies, to the devastation of AIDS, and beyond. Don't miss it!
