Take Our Zine Writing Class!

January 25, 2014

On Saturday March 14 from 10am-1pm, we will be leading a zine making workshop at the Carnegie Center. If you've been curious about starting your own zine, here's your chance to benefit from our decades of experience!

First, you'll learn what zines are, their history, and various styles. Then you will get started making your own zine. We'll have supplies on hand, but feel free to bring pictures, text, paper cutouts, markers or anything else that inspires you. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your completed project at KFZ 2015.

Advanced registration is required at carnegiecenterlex.org or (859) 254-4175.

A portion of the class fee will directly benefit KFZ.

When: Saturday March 14

Where: The Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning, 251 W. Second Street

Time: 10am-1pm

Cost: $15

Instructors: Ondine Miranda Quinn, Ida Lucille Sell, Anna Campomanes
